Mini Grid

Mini Grid is a construction and strategy game centered on urban power supply networks.

As the city grows, new power demands keep emerging. You will build power sources and substations, plan transmission lines, coordinate networks across multiple voltage levels, and deliver electricity to every corner of the city.

Connecting the wires is only the beginning. When equipment faults, supply pressure and policy changes strike all at once, can your power grid remain stable?

In this game, you can:

• Build multi-stage power grids: Construct power networks with 10, 35, 110, 220 and 500 kV. Link different voltage tiers via substations and gradually expand power coverage across the city.
• Cross rivers to connect both banks: Deploy underwater cables to span rivers and incorporate terrain into your planning.
• Use engineering utilities: Boost grid capacity and resolve operational issues with capacity expansion, maintenance, emergency cooling, auto-reclosing and relay protection.
• Create backup loops: Add parallel lines and redundant connections so your grid can withstand failures.
• Adapt to government policies and urban growth: Policies alter power supply rules and consumption demands. Watch for shifts and adjust your layout to sustain reliable power for the expanding city.

About this Demo

Mini Grid is still in active development. This release is a playable demo. Content, balance values and UI will continue to be refined.
